I am an expert in microplastics pollution, having worked in this field for the last 11 years. My research focusses on microplastics in aquatic environments including freshwater and marine, and has taken me from the UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology, to the National Oceanography Centre and now the Marine Biological Association. My Future Leaders Fellowship will investigate microplastics and their interactions with wider environmental stressors (multistressors), and their potential chronic impacts on marine ecosystems.
