Understanding fluid flows in the deep interior of gas giants and icy moons is a tremendous interdisciplinary challenge. The goal of my FLF is to use a process-oriented approach combining novel rotating fluid mechanics experiments, numerical models and theoretical analyses to complement spacecraft observations.
